A little about me…
Obsessed with the mind body connection. Big believer in our innate capacity for growth & positive change. My super power is… I can drink coffee anytime of day & go straight to bed. Sci-fi on repeat. Wanna be ninja. 8 years practice of tai chi, kung fu, & chi gong. More surprised than ANYONE how it helped me fully recover from a spinal injury. What can I say? Growth is kinda my thing.
I didn’t always know how to go beyond surface level fixes.
Early in my career, I was frustrated. I felt stuck helping my clients manage symptoms and just cope better. But we weren't getting to the root. Honestly? I just didn't know how yet.
Back then, I thought change came from working harder, staying in control, & always pushing through. It wasn’t entirely wrong, but it was no where near the full picture. It kept us locked in surface-level fixing. Treating what we could see without resolving what was driving it underneath.
Looking back… I’ve always been driven by what works. What has surprised me is what actually does. This became real when in 2014 I suffered a spinal injury. After conventional approaches fell short, I was open to modalities that I wouldn’t have ever considered before. Integrative practices that treated the mind, body & spirit.
This period was a time of deep personal healing that changed my understanding of health, human potential & positive change.
Now, I know how to go beyond just coping to the root of the issue. Inspired to help others in more effective & meaningful ways, I trained & became certified in the integrative approaches that helped me.
It’s wild! My journey is now filled with 15+ years as a licensed psychotherapist working with high performing adults. 8+ years as a trauma specialist certified in the big trauma reprocessing therapies of EMDR, Biofeedback, & Advanced Integrative Therapy.
Proud nerd alert! Extensive training in depth psychology and integrative mind-body approaches that address the root of stress — not just the symptoms. Getting to serve hundreds of clients. Helping them transform how they operate internally — at the level of identity and nervous system.
