I am a managed-free private practice and do not take insurance. There are many benefits to paying out of pocket. First, if you pay out-of-pocket you will retain full privacy from insurance companies, as they would otherwise have access to your complete record, including session content. Secondly, insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis to approve payment. These diagnoses become a part of your permanent medical record, should you use insurance. Finally, when you pay out-of-pocket there are no limits to the number of sessions in which you are allowed to participate. Pretty much, you have more freedom, autonomy, & privacy. All wins to me!
If you would like, you can request an insurance superbill, which I am happy to provide. You can then submit the superbill to your insurer for reimbursement using your out-of-network insurance agreement. Be aware that your insurance company still requires a mental health diagnosis in this scenario; but, they will not have access to what is discussed in session or have any say in the number of sessions you receive.

Cash, check, PayPal, and all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) are accepted forms of payment. Payment processing requires a $5 fee. To avoid this, you can use cash/check.
-
I have a true 24 hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule you must do so at least 24 hours in advance; otherwise, you will be required to pay for the full cost of the session. Session fees must be paid before additional services can be provided.
