I didn’t always know how to go beyond surface level change.

Early in my career, I was frustrated. I felt stuck helping my clients manage symptoms and just cope better. But we weren't getting to the root. Honestly? I just didn't know how yet.

Back then, I thought change came from working harder, staying in control, & always pushing through. It wasn’t entirely wrong, but it was nowhere near the full picture. It kept us locked in surface-level fixing. Treating what we could see without resolving what was driving it underneath.

Looking back… I’ve always been driven by what works. What has surprised me is what actually does. This became real when in 2014 I suffered a spinal injury. After conventional approaches fell short, I was open to modalities that I wouldn’t have considered before. Integrative practices that treated the mind, body & spirit.

This period was a time of deep personal healing that changed my understanding of health, human potential & positive change.

Now, I know how to go beyond just coping—to the root of the issue. Inspired to help others in more effective and meaningful ways, I trained and became certified in the integrative approaches that had helped me.

My journey now includes 15+ years as a licensed psychotherapist working with high-functioning adults and 8+ years specializing in trauma, with advanced training and certification in EMDR, Biofeedback, and Advanced Integrative Therapy.

Proud nerd alert: I’m a forever student. I remain deeply curious about wellbeing, wholeness, and positive change—what creates it, what gets in the way, and what makes it last.

That curiosity continues to shape my work— for my own personal benefit, love of learning, & for the clients I have the pleasure of working with.

Helping people create change that reaches deep down to the level of identity and nervous system is work I can’t help but love.

I’m so thankful to have worked with hundreds of clients and to be a part of their journeys. If you’re looking for support in yours, I hope you’ll take the next step with me.

My super power is I can drink coffee anytime & go straight to bed

Big believer in…

The mind body connection. Your innate capacity for growth and positive change. The power of presence. That encouragement makes all the difference. And if it’s not holistic, we’re missing something essential

Nothing like being on the same team with my mind & body.

Unpopular Opinion(s)

Cold brew doesn’t do it. Productivity hacks are overrated. Presence is where it’s at. Adulting is a gift, not a chore. Perfection makes for a shitty scorecard.

My favorite book rotates, but The Shogun is winning right now.

My Self Care Practices…

Self Connection. Mindful journaling or contemplation—even 3 minutes connects me to me. Self Aligned. Listen to my body’s cues. Move my body. Be in nature. Hydrate & eat well. Self Led. Make conscious choices based on my needs & wants. I can’t go wrong when I practice martial arts. A daily dose of tai chi, kung fu or qi gong always hits the spot.

Obsessed with

Jungian psychology. Martial arts. And a good boogie boarding session. Hot sauce is always in my purse. Give me a library, and I’m in my happy place—you’ll find me in the sci-fi, historical fiction, or YA sections. And then there’s my greatest obsession: all things by Studio Ghibli. Go watch My Neighbor Totoro. You’re welcome.
